Great size look and workmanship

Previously we had the same exact microwave since 2019 and so we wanted the exact same counter top model. LG 0.9 cu. ft. NEOCHEF to fit in the same small space in our kitchen. I could not find other microwaves that size that had the feel and look of this one. We are very happy with this microwave.

I thought this was a fantastic product and a great deal until the thing turned orange inside and started to shoot electricity volts across the inside of the microwave It could easily have started my condo on fire had I not been standing there to unplug it - it didnt respond to my pushing the cancel/stop button. LG has been HORRIBLE about replacing my product and havent yet - even though it says 10 YEAR WARRANTY - etched on the front of the microwave.

Burned up and Burned out

I liked this microwave until one day it shot orange lightning across itself and kept doing that until I had to unplug it because it was not responding to the stop/clear button on the front of the unit. I have contacted LG as I do not want a refund I just want a new SAFER microwave to replace this one LG ASSOCIATES HAVE BEEN LESS THAN HELPFUL. FUNNY THING IS THIS UNIT HAS A 10 YEAR WARRANTY ETCHED INTO THE FRONT DOOR OF THE MICROWAVE. Be accountable LG and start treating your customers right

I like this microwave- its small but heats things quickly and thoroughly. I like the touchscreen slider to adjust the cooking time rather than a keypad- its easy to set and to add time to. I did follow the recommendation to keep a cup of water inside when Im not using it in case I bump the +30 sec button by mistake which I have done a couple of times. When by some fluke the glass door shattered when no one using it near it LG replaced it within a week of my call and I had no qualms about having the same model. All in all I recommend it.

Lightly used this microwave mostly for heating and reheating. Pretty much from when it was brand new got error code F1. Then eventually the touchpad issues started.. Then error code F1. Now its error code F3. Oven is less than 5 years old.

Like the looks and overall design. Compact but holds typical plates just fine. Easy to keep clean controls are simple and easy to use. Except the lifespan is short. I did boil water for morning tea most days and did use the auto cook for potatoes several minutes so perhaps this would last for occasional usage.. Will replace with a different brand.

I purchased this excitedly thinking it would be great to match the brand of my TV and air conditioner. We loved this Microwave It plays songs instead of the irritating notification beeps and was just enough for our household However weve only had it a short time and the inside turned orange while 19 seconds into a 30 second cook time. Volts of electricity were sparking and the hot dog in there was instantly shrunk and scalded The machine had no damage or food residue and no metal on the dish or the hot dog before you assume. I had to unplug it for fear of burning down my house. I have called LG five times and they have done NOTHING. I cant even get a call back. They did send me this link to review the product though

Caught Fire On Its Own

This microwave was 5 years old and caught fire as soon as my child turned it on today to heat his lunch. Luckily I was home and I was able to put it out quickly. The actual microwave itself caught fire not the food and the food was still cold. This was an electrical failure of some kind.

We bought LG fridge AC Oven from Pattom QRS Thiruvananthapuram. They said the compressor of the fridge has a guarantee of 10 years and its been only 1 and half year since we bought the Fridge and now its not working compressor is dead. Likewise the oven door also got not working in less than 1 year. Their AC is also getting complaint once in every 3 months. Do not recommend LG products at all.

Very disappointed. The touchpad required opening the door to access the inner touchpad for any inputs other than the length of time you wanted it to run. We had the unit for only 6 months when the inside touchpad became inoperable.

This microwave almost burnt my house down and I wish I was kidding. There was nothing in it it was clean it was not running and yet the thing had some kind of electrical malfunction causing it to combust. These microwaves are a safety hazard and you should avoid at all cost. There are so many reviews mentioning fire between here best buy home depot and lowes. I wish I had looked at reviews before buying off a shelf. I had not idea what the smell was and attributed it to our freshly painted guest bedroom and ignored it. MY husband came home and instantly knew it was an electrical fire and found the microwave. Wouldnt want to know what couldve happened if he hadnt found it.

I have had my LG microwave for several months now and use it several times a day. The only complaint I have is that a bag of microwave popcorn doesnt fit in it very well. The bags get caught on the sides because they are just a bit too big and dont rotate with the carousel.

Recently purchased this elegant and original microwave to fit a remodeled kitchen. Its clever and unique controls design makes it easy and efficient to use. Likewise we appreciate the unique design of the turntable which assures stability while handling hot items. Along with LGs reputation for quality this makes for a perfect microwave when you dont need a big machine.

I bought this microwave a few months ago. My other LG was good but only lasted 2 years which was a disappointment. However I decided to give LG another chance since I really liked the way it looked.

Did Not Honor Warranty

My microwave was 5 years old but had a 10 year magnetron warranty. When my microwave stopped working it was determined by an LG service center that the magnetron had failed and could not be repaired. Rather than providing me with a new unit or credit towards a microwave LG did nothing. If this is the service I get I wonder what the point of the warranty is. I will not buy LG appliances in the future.

Almost started a fire

Had this a few years and within the 10 year warranty period. Almost set my house on fire arching like crazy and loud sound then smoke alarm went off. Contacted LG who have refused to help me because I lost the receipt.

We bought 3 of these within one year. I was able to return 1 of them to Best Buy within the return window. I have been battling w LG for a refund since September w NO SUCCESS. I also need to pay for them to be disposed of.

My first LG appliance and wont be the last

I keep my microwave use to a minimum but after almost a year it was time for a replacement. I walked into best buy saw the floor model read review and was sold. So easy to use and clean. Even heating nothing burned except for when overdid the recommended popcorn setting but thats on me.

Door issue 2.5 year broke 2nd time same unit

We loved this for 2.5 years Door latch and mechanical is weak with cheap plastic that breaks the interlock door switch. The microwave will not operate with door issue for obvious reasons. Since others had the same issue we moved to another brand. So sad every applicance is LG and now I have a Rogue brand. LG does not offer a small compact .7 to .9 cu microwave except this one. I was forced to move to another brand.

Neo Chef Microwave

I had this microwave about 3 years now. The features are great definitely enough space inside for large plates .Heats up up foods beautify with not uneven heat spots. The only problem I had was the door release button came out. Unfortunately the warranty was up but LG Customer service did offer a 20 rebate if I bought another microwave so they werte helpful and yes I would buy another. With the exception of of the button Im still using the microwave until I buy a new one.

Disappointed in longevity of performance

This is a nice looking solid microwave. However disappointed in that it stopped functioning after 3.5 years and LG would not stand behind the product. It says 10 year warranty right on the front door. This was not honored.
