I dont know if mine is defective or if this is just trash. I bought this model in part because the photos showed the prongs on the bottom dish rack having curves to hold the plates up. The rack I received is not what is shown in photos and the prongs will not stay locked in place. As soon as I put more than two plates the prongs fall down and then of course the plates all fall down. We purchased this to replace our old LG dishwasher which was leaking after only six years. We have probably $8000 of LG appliances in our kitchen but I think we are done with them at this point.

Not As Quiet As I Expected

The dishwasher does a good job cleaning dishes and pots and pans. I went with a staianless tub dishwasher becuase I was told they are more quiet than a plastic tub unit. My old dishwasher that was 30 years old had a plastic tub and was at least twice as quiet as this new LQ. Very disappointed on how noisy it is. But..it does a supurb job on the pots and pans the old dishwasher couldnt handle. So happy we got it to go with our other LQ appliances and equipment. Refridgerator and TVs.

I bought this a little under a month ago and only used it a few times so far. It does seem to take longer than other dishwashers Ive had but is super quiet. However I have noticed after the couple washes Ive done that the dishes dont really seem to get dry even with extra dry and theres always like condensation water on the fold down door part which Ive never noticed on any other dishwasher Ive had and Ive moved many apartments. *Im only trying to enter the sweepstakes I didnt get it for free at all or what not for this review.

I bought this LG dishwasher last month because my old one was rusty. So far I really like this dishwasher. It has a lot of space compared to my old one although the same size love the stainless steel inside and the 3rd rack does come in handy for extra silverware and small condiment bowls. The only negative so far is the drying feature. There basically isnt one. Dishes always come out wet even using the dry setting and leaving the door shut for hours after. I never had to use a drying agent on my other dishwasher but I am going to start with this one and see how it goes. Still would recommend. It cleans great and is so extremely quiet I cant hear it when its on from the livingroom. My other one was so loud I had to turn tv up when washing dishes.

I purchased this LG dishwasher in March 2023. Never owned an LG. It cleans the dishes. There was no foul rotten food smell till 2 1/2 months ago. We rinsed the dishes. Would do a dish cycle with afresh. I contacted Costco. They contacted LG. LG representative told me to put a bowl of lemon juice or vinegar in the dishwasher before calling them again. I NEVER had a dishwasher do that. My whole opinion of LG has changed and not for the better.

Cleans well broke within 5 weeks of use

I bought this dishwasher a little over a month ago and I am very happy with it It is beautiful I like the silverware holder that makes sure your utensils are not spooned during the wash and I love the 3rd mini shelf at the top - very handy for small items. Also its nice that some of the dish dividers can be adjusted when you might have something extra large. Only disappointed a little that I dont think the drying options are that great the hot overnight dry still leaves some water on some of the glasses and bowls.

This is a second review after having this dishwasher about 6 weeks. I bought this dishwasher in mid July. It does the job but in retrospect I should have bought a different model This model has the settings on the front rather that at the top and I have accidently started the dishwasher several times by bumping up against it while cleaning the kitchen The cleaning of the dishes is okay but nothing special and cleaning time is rather long. I do have the say the extra dry setting does work very well and I am pleased with that function All in all it is a good product however in my opinion it is nothing special.

The request was for an honest review. This dishwasher is my first LG dishwasher and rates below my previous dishwashers. It is a quiet dishwasher. The racks feel cheap and are not laid out well. I have had this dishwasher for a few weeks now. The dishes pots and pans cups and utensils are very clean It is very easy to use and relatively quiet. So far I am pleased with the purchase. I have one issue however and it is not with LG specifically. Why do almost all of the new appliances like dishwashers and washers and dryers take so long to complete their cycles? Im no spring chicken and I remember when these items could complete their cycles in half the time and they were clean. Just something to ponder.

I purchased this item as part of a complete kitchen set just after Memorial Day. To maximize rebates I had to select each appliance individually which required some effort as opposed to buying a predetermined set but we got what we wanted. The dishwasher itself is really quiet: just loud enough for me to know that its running. Its nice being able to raise/lower the middle shelf depending on what I need to fit in and the third shelf opens up a lot of bottom shelf room by removing the need for the silverware basket. Best of all the front panel control buttons dont show off fingerprints like the stove and microwave do. The instructions talk about downloading wash programs which is confusing as it isnt WiFi enabled would have rather had the unit programmed in advance but its working well for my needs.

We bought this dishwasher to match our other LG appliances. It does a great job in cleaning our dishes. We like the top rack for utensils and the stainless steel interior. Right now though we have been unable to get our dishes completely dry. We have tried all the settings available to no avail. I have checked and rechecked the drain hose for kinks etc. but all seems well. Right now we crack the door to aid in drying but I would love some assistance from LG on how to solve this problem. Overall we like our LG appliances.

Bought LG dishwasher 18 months ago and loved it for awhile. The flashing warning light came on and it was the direct drive motor. This part has a ten year warranty so I am very surprised it went out after 18 months. Even though the part is covered the labor is not and it has been over three weeks and still waiting for LG to fix it. Ugh.

The dishwasher cleans the dishes well and its pretty quiet. The racks are not designed well as this doesnt hold nearly as many dishes as our old cheaper brand dishwasher. The bottom rack also slides out of place very easily which is annoying when its full of breakable dishes.

We bought this to coordinate with the other appliances for our kitchen remodel. I love the way it looks. The adjustable racks are very handy. The bells can be a little annoying but there is a feature to turn them off. We usually run it on economy setting which takes almost 3 hours. Dishes dont get dry on any setting so far but were still discovering how to use it.

Really cleans dishes well

Glad I made this purchase. I was concerned at first buying a discontinued model but this dishwasher does the job much better than our old one. The black stainless matches the color of our other appliances.

Beautiful Unit But Wet Dishes

This is a beautiful unit but it leaves my dishes drenched Zero drying The unit is quiet as a mouse and the dishes come out near perfectly clean BUT after the cycle is run the dishes are SUPER wet I have to open the unit to let the dishes dry because Im afraid bacteria will grow in all the water. Even after drying for a full day I still have to use a dish towel on some pieces but its better than hand washing the dishes

Very Quiet

We replaced our old dishwasher because it didnt clean well and was so loud that it set off our car alarm in the adjoining garage Well maybe a slight exaggeration. The new LG is very quiet and cleans well. Installation was a breeze. Top shelf may be great for others but I removed it easily to accommodate tall glasses.

Wont completely clean eggs from items

Really quiet and we like the third rack for silverware. However if we dont rinse leftover eggs from plates or silverware it leaves some on them.
